High Rollers 7th Annual Poker Run for Nevada Cancer Research Foundation
The High Rollers M/C is having its 7th Annual Poker Run for the Nevada Cancer Research Foundation. The run will be on June 7, 2009 and will begin at the Arlen Ness store located at 4020 Boulder Highway and finishes at the Orleans Hotel/Casino at 4500 W. Tropicana in the pool area. Over 700 prizes will be given away including 14 slot machines and the drawing for our 2009 American Performance Cycle (APC) Hustler Motorcycle with a 96 cu in S&S motor and six speed transmission will be held. Raffle tickets can be purchased on line at www.lvhrmc.com or from any High Rollers member. Many members can be found at Mr. D’s on Rainbow and Oakey on Wednesday nights.
Last year the High Rollers donated over $47,000 to the Nevada Cancer Research Foundation (NCRF) with a total for the past five years at over $190,000. The club also sells a calendar with local bikes and local ladies for which all of the proceeds go NCRF. Calendars can be ordered online at www.calendarhr.com.
The High Rollers M/C was founded in 2000 by a number of riders working in the gaming industry and in addition to the NCRF they collect toys for needy families of the Catholic Charities Christmas distribution and support other local club rides for their charities.
